The result will be released via a merit list containing the names of the candidates who have scored above a cut-off which will also be released on this website. These selected candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which is a Physical Efficiency Test consisting of a race, a shotput, and a high jump component

Based on how candidates performed in the written exam of the selection process, the Central Selection Board of Constables will prepare a list of candidates who have passed/succeeded in the phase of the selection process. In this list, the name and roll numbers of the selected candidates will be mentioned.
Result Process and Expected Cut Off
Coming to the process of releasing results, Staff Selection Commission will follow other exam boards in releasing results. Before releasing the Constable exam results, the board follows the procedure of Answer Key and objections. Read below to understand the whole procedure of the result preparation below:

- A preliminary answer key carrying answers to the questions asked in the exam is released.
- The board would then ask the candidates to submit any objections to the answer key with respect to any incorrect answers if any can be found.
- The board then revises the answer key with valid suggestions from candidates and releases the revised answer key.
- The answer sheets are evaluated according to the revised answer key and then the board prepares candidates’ individual scores and releases them online.
