Syllabus for Junior Assistant Exam
For Paper 1:-
(i) General Awareness: In this section, candidates have to acquire knowledge about the environment and surrounding society facts. This will test your ability based on current affairs. Many questions will be asked linked with Indian society and its neighboring countries. Aspirants need to cover subjects like General Policy, History, National/International Organisations /Board, Indian Polity & Constitution, Geography, Science & Scientific Research, Art & Culture, Economic Occurrences, etc.
(ii) Reasoning Ability: Questions from this section cover many categories such as arithmetical number sequel, analogies, verbal and figure classification, similarities, discrimination, concepts, visual memory, problem-solving, decision making, relationship, arithmetical reasoning, observation, differences, etc.
(iii) Mathematical Ability: The questions from this subject consist of Time & Distance, Decimals, Mensuration, Simplification, Compound, and Simple Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Time and Work, Fractions, Tables and Graphs, H.C.F., Profit & Loss, L.C.M., Discount, etc.
(iv) Exam of Hindi or English: To know about the candidate’s proficiency in Hindi or English this test consists of Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, Grammar, Synonyms, and their use, etc.
For Paper-II:
Letter writing, comprehension, and Essay: Here the proper use of language, letter writing and formatting, Comprehension, and essay writing is tested.
Skill Test: Candidates have to show their typing speed which will finalize their selection.
