In 2019, Indian Railways had released this huge recruitment drive for 1,03,769 Level-I vacancies. The posts being recruited for in grade IV are those of Track maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, and Assistant Pointsman.

Railway Recruitment Board has issued a notice about the correction of photos on November 26, 2021. As per the notice, candidates whose application forms were rejected due to blurry photos of themselves or a missing photo will be able to upload a new photo.

The exam will be a computer-based multiple-choice questions exam. The exam will be of 90 minutes, with Persons with Disabilities students getting 30 minutes more to write the exam.
The Railway Recruitment Board will not send the candidate’s admit card to the postal address of the candidate. Thus, the candidate will have to visit the official website and download the admit card from there online. The candidates should take a printout of the admit card on A4 size paper.

Along with the admit card, the candidate has to produce a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the admit card. A thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of exam invigilator only.
The candidate has to produce the photo ID’s original document and a photocopy of the same, the admit card, their SC/ST certificate if applicable, and two passport size and one postcard size photos of the candidate.
