Railway Recruitment process 2022
Candidates will be hired for the Group D post based on their performances in the recruitment examinations which will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Cell.
The recruitment process will include the following processes,
- A computer-based examination.
- Physical test.
- Verification of the documents.
- interview
RRB Group D Examination Pattern.
The RRD Group D examination will include subjects like,
- Mathematics, a total of 25 questions.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning a total of 30 questions.
- General Science a total of 25 questions.
- General Awareness on Current Affairs a total of 20 questions.

Thus, the total number of questions for the RRD Group D examination will be 100 and the whole-time duration of the examination will be 90 minutes. The pattern of the examination will be an MCQ type format. An extra-time limit will be provided for PWD Candidates. The examination will be conducted for a maximum of 100 marks.
Also, the examination will have a negative marking of 0.33.
RRB Group D Pattern for Physical examination.
- For the male candidates, a 35 kg weight should be lifted and carried for 100 meters in a total time duration of 2 minutes and the candidate should run for 1000 meters in a total time duration of 4 minutes 15 seconds.
- For the female candidates, a 20 kg weight should be lifted and carried for 100 meters in a total time duration of 2 minutes and the candidate should run for 1000 meters in a total time duration of 5 minutes 40 seconds.
Both the male and female candidates should be able to complete the task in a single shot, in failing to do so the candidate will be disqualified.

For General Intelligence and Reasoning. The questions will be asked from topics like,
- Alphabetical and Number Series
- Coding and Decoding
- Mathematical operations
- Syllogism Jumbling
- Venn Diagrams
- Conclusions and Decision making
- Similarities and Differences
For General Science, the questions will be asked from CBSE 10th class syllabus. For General Awareness on Current Affairs questions related to sports, international events may be asked in the examination paper.
