Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) Village Development Officer (VDO) Recruitment Admit Card, Syllabus, Eligibility.
Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) will conduct the first phase of the exam to become Village Development Officer (VDO) or Gram Vikas Adhikari tentatively in December 2021 for its 2021 recruitment. The RSMSSB VDO preliminary exam admit card will be released on its official website in accordance with that.
The recruitment is for 3896 vacancies, out of which 3222 vacancies are for unreserved areas and the rest 674 for reserved areas. Eligibility criteria is a bachelor’s degree, and the applicant must be above 18 year and below 40 years in age. Applications were open from 10 September 2021 to 9 October 2021 (last date). The application fees are to be paid online. The application fees are as follows:
- General/OBC Creamy layer: Rs. 450/-
- OBC non-creamy layer: Rs. 350/-
- SC/ST: Rs. 250/-
A complete schedule of the recruitment drive will be posted on the official website soon. The exam has three phases, the first is a preliminary exam, the second is the main exam, and finally an interview. The date for the main exam is to be notified but tentatively will happen in February 2022. The interview will happen after that.

The exam will have objective type questions in the MCQ format, and there will be four to five options for each question out of which one will be the correct answer. The exam will be offline, and of 100 marks, each question of one mark. The RSMSSB Village Development Officer (VDO) preliminaries admit card will be released 15 days before the preliminary exam. The RSMSSB admit card will be available through the online portal. They can be downloaded from the RSMSSB website (rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in). For this the applicant can go to the website and simply enter their registration number, password, and date of birth.
