The syllabus for the UPPSC RO ARO examinations will soon be released by the public service commission of Uttar Pradesh, also known as UPSSC. The UPSSC board regularly conducts the examinations for the Review and Assistant Review officer in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The recruitment process will consist of a written examination which will be conducted by the UPPSC and the syllabus for the same will be released by the board in their official web portal.

RO and ARO Recruitment Process
The recruitment process for the RO and ARO post will consist of 3 steps, the prelim written examination, the main examination and the interview process.
Prelims Exam Pattern
The prelim examination will include questions from subjects like
- General Studies, a total of 140 questions.
- General Hindi, a total of 60 questions.
The total marks of the prelim exam will be 200 and the total time duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.
The prelim examination will have two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The pattern for the exam will be of Objective type. The prelim exam will have a negative marking of 0.33.
Mains Examination Pattern
The main examination will include questions from subjects like,
- General studies, a total of 120 questions.
- General Hindi.
The total marks for the main exam will be 400. The main exam will consist of 3 papers in an Objective type pattern. The main exam will have a negative marking of 0.33.
